I am coming. Just a request. Try not to be too over the top. Remember, if 10 kooks show up in a crowd of 7,000, guess who makes the news. I know this isn't usually a problem in Minnesota, but it has happened else where.

Just a reminder on parking: the state lots are FREE on the weekends but the CITY meters on the streets ARE NOT and you *will* get tagged if you don't feed the meter. Also, don't park in the Sears lot as people have been tagged there in the past as well. Plan ahead, carpool and most of all, let's have fun as we send our messages to our representatives!

It is time to rally up the troops and get them out there on Saturday. How about getting 15,000 to 20,000 people to show up? Lets see if we can get a bigger crowd than the Tea Party in Atlanta.

We could overstay our welcome and refuse to leave until arrested. ...Wait, my congressman already did that. Darn, that was our only hope for an accurate attendance count from the striberals. Maybe just arrest Langdon? Nah, what's the point. I know! We could save our waste and throw plastic bags full of it at anyone who disagrees with us! Well, I suppose the diverse and tolerant leftoids already did that at the RNC, I'd hate to be a year behind on such a hot trend. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

All goofing aside, I'd love to see a comeback as it relates to "Figure of Eight", a fantastic song that made it onto my wedding playlist last year! Hearing that over the sound system at last year's rally was memorable. Really, it seems this is well planned enough to where it's hard to come up with suggestions. Got extra garbage cans due to the addition of food? And porta-potties? A plan in case it starts to sprinkle, tarps for speakers, a bulk of cheapo throw away ponchos to sell for 20$ a crack to anyone who failed to plan for the unexpected? Sure you do, see? You're ready to go and I'm itchin' to show! Have a great time gang, I know I will!

I'm at the mercy of a ride there and back, but if we can get there early enough and/or stay late enough, I may have a few folks willing to help set up / tear down /clean up if you like. For all that's being done for us, it's the least we can do for you, right? I'll find someone there who can put us to use if we're able, and you can email me instructions or contact info if there's anything specific I'd need to know about volunteering on-site.

Chad, good suggestion. We are going to have a petition signing activity that will allow us to confirm numbers.
